Two Madrigals by John Wilbye, arr. Hirsh

John Wilbye’s beautiful Renaissance madrigals–There is a Jewel and Fly Love Aloft (at 2:35 on the playback) have been adapted here as instrumental selections. To sound more guitaristic, chords have been realized and instrumental articulations and ornamentation have been added. Available as a Trio or Quartet.  For both versions, Guit I and II are the most active (Guit III is easiest in the Quartet).
