Down to the River to Pray—arr, A. Hirsh

Also called “Down in the Valley to Pray,” or “The Good Ol Way'” the tune is a traditional African-American spiritual, popularized in the 2000 film “O Brother, Where Art Thou?”  This arrangment retains the vocal rhythms but adds more guitaristic textures, including chords,percussion and strumming.  Available in Standard, Expanded (with contrabass), and Quartet versions.
