Earth Song I by Alan Hirsh (E/M)

A beautiful work for beginning to intermediate groups written in a somewhat new-age style.  Many ostinatos have campanella fingerings which provide chordal blurring in the accompaniment.  Other effects include glissando, harmonics, and thumb tapping on the soundboard.  All in all, this work offers a wide variety of expressive nuances.  Available in Standard, Expanded, and Standard (with opt. Contrabass) and set of audio reference tracks.
