Prelude No. 1 from the Well Tempered Clavier, by J.S. Bach (E)

A perfect entry-level work by Bach which may also be used for warm-up, sight reading, or just ensemble fine-tuning.   For a more suitable (and sonorous) guitar register, the original key of C major has been transposed to G. While Guitar I requires some familiarity with upper position, all parts are extremely accessible.   Guitars III, IV, and V have 2 notes-per-measure patterns, while Guitars I and II have 3 and 4 per measure.  Available as standard or trio arrangements.
